Sanctuary Dogs

Our Sanctuary is home to livestock guardian dogs who are still working—but whose needs go beyond what most homes or hobby farms can provide. These dogs were bred to guard and protect, and while they can thrive in the right rural setting, they come with unique challenges. Some struggle with high energy, strong guardian instincts, reactivity to other dogs, bite history, deep fear of strangers or they are undergoing training or medical treatment.

They’re not suited for family homes, hobby farms, or first-time LGD handlers. These are serious working dogs best placed with experienced owners who understand their complex needs and are equipped to help them succeed.
