We match all of our dogs so we don’t have them listed here. Please make an appointment to review your situation, needs, and match you with one of our dogs.
These dogs do not inherently possess the skills to be a Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD); their effectiveness relies solely on rigorous training yes they have the genetics but lack of training and unrealistic expectations is what leads these dogs to getting returned, abandoned or surrendered. It takes a solid 1.5-2 years of consistent efforts to ensure they become trustworthy companions for your livestock. Are you prepared for this commitment, especially if challenges arise, such as the dog killing an animal or excessive barking? Additionally, LGDs thrive best when paired; can you manage the dynamics of caring for multiples? This breed is not only intelligent but also independent, requiring patience and understanding. Your choice today impacts both the dog’s life and your own. Ask yourself, if, you decide to sell your stock, are you committed to the dog(s) or will you consider returning it?

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON ADOPTIONS, If, you return an animal for whatever reason, your adoption fee becomes a donation. PLEASE think hard about the commitment of raising an animal. They are demanding, they need consistency, training, time, resources and especially patience. Keep in mind these dogs use barking to scare off predators so please consider that and whatever amount of barking you are thinking its probably at least twice as much. Please note after a dog or cat has been in the home for months or years, we ask adopters for a donation when returning an animal to assist with its continued care. We CANNOT always immediately take back adopted animals once they have been adopted, or if they have exhibited serious aggression towards other animals or humans we ask for your patience and collaboration on the matter.
