Our Mission:
The purpose of Golden State Great Pyrenees Rescue and Sanctuary is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong sanctuary for abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs, with a focus on preventing euthanasia and promoting responsible pet ownership. Delivering tailored solutions for discerning clients who value excellence in livestock protection and canine behavior.

Our Objectives Include:

1. Rescue and Rehabilitation:

   • Provide immediate shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation services to at-risk dogs, including those with medical conditions, behavioral challenges, and disabilities.

2. Adoption and Rehoming Programs:

   • Facilitate adoptions to loving and permanent homes through outreach, events, and community partnerships.

3. Sanctuary and Lifetime Care:

   • Offer a safe, permanent home for dogs unable to be rehomed due to age, illness, or special needs.

4. Education and Advocacy:

   • Educate the public about animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spay/neuter programs.

5. Prevention of Cruelty:

   • Work to prevent cruelty and neglect through rescue efforts, collaboration with law enforcement, and public awareness campaigns.
