LGD Puppies

Ages: 0–7 Months

Every great guardian starts with the right foundation. Our Puppy Guardian Program is designed to introduce young LGDs to ranch life safely and positively — setting the groundwork for calm, confident, livestock-safe behavior from the start.

Program Includes (based on age and duration of program):

  • Early socialization with livestock (sheep, goats, poultry)

  • Desensitization to ranch noises, vehicles, and predator scents

  • Crate, leash, and boundary training

  • Safe livestock introductions under handler supervision

  • Health check, vaccinations, microchip, and GPS collar setup

  • Updates with photos and/or videos

Puppies leave confident, social, and ready for continued on-farm development — the first step in raising a reliable working LGD.

ROI in Action: Early-trained LGDs are proven to deliver long-term herd protection and savings, reducing losses from the very first season.

Lulu

Female - February 2026 - Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd

Our hearts were captured by a lone 7-week-old puppy at the shelter, but we soon learned his story was far from over. Shortly after committing to rescuing him, we got the call that his parents—Lily and Liam—had been caught in the orchards. We said "yes" without hesitation, but there was still a hole in the family: more puppies were rumored to be left behind.

We waited, caught between hope and worry, while traps were set. Just as hope was fading, the miracle happened—three more puppies were found! Seeing how much they look like their their brother Oliver, we knew the family was finally whole.

Now that Mom, Dad, and their brother Oliver have found their forever homes, it is time for these three resilient "Miracle Babies" to find theirs. They have survived the wild and the shelter—now they just need you.

Saint

Male - February 2026 - Great Pyrenees

They say some dogs are just born with a "Saintly" spirit, and this boy lives up to his name every single day. Saint is already showing the calm, gentle, and steady temperament that makes the Great Pyrenees breed so legendary. He isn’t interested in causing chaos; he just wants to be near you. His favorite spot is tucked right under your feet—staying as close as humanly possible to his pack. He is being raised and supervised by veteran Livestock Guardian Dogs. He is incredibly smart, taking their corrections and "criticism" with a maturity that is rare for a puppy his age. He is an observer, a learner, and a very "easy" pup to train.Exposed to cats and dogs of all sizes. He doesn't mind the wild birds that come to share his space; he’s a "live and let live" Saint is the perfect match for a family or a farm looking for a loyal, velcro-dog who is as smart as he is sweet. He is a "thinker" who wants to please his people and respect his pack. Saint is ready to bring some peace and loyalty to his forever home. Will it be yours?

Freya

Female - February 2026 - Great Pyrenees

Meet Freya, Saint’s 3-month-old sister. While her brother is happy being your shadow, Freya is the curious explorer of the bunch. She is a friendly, playful, and spirited Great Pyrenees who finds joy in every corner of the yard. Whether she’s on a serious mission to "hunt" lizards or tossing her toys in the air, Freya keeps us all smiling. Like her brother, Freya is being raised under the watchful eyes of our veteran LGDs. She is incredibly social and takes life with a "happy-go-lucky" attitude. She’s smart, observant, and is learning exactly how to balance her playful energy with the discipline required of a Guardian dog. Curious, friendly, and always ready for a game of fetch (or lizard-chase!). Exposed to cats and dogs of all sizes and gets along with everyone. Even with her playful nature, she’s respectful of the wild birds that visit the yard. She handles her crate time like a champ. She’s doing great—as long as you give her a "fast-track" to the dirt as soon as she wakes up! Freya is looking for a family who wants a dog with a little bit of "zest"—a girl who will join you on hikes, play with the kids in the yard, and then curl up for a well-earned nap at the end of the day.

Are you ready for a lifetime of lizard-chasing adventures with Freya?

Falkon

Male - January 2026 - Great Pyrenees

Falkon and his brother and sister were found wandering as strays and ended up in a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, we stepped in to secure their freedom, and Falkon has been showing us what an absolute sweetheart he is ever since!

Here is what makes this young boy so special:

🐐 Natural Instincts: He shows absolutely zero prey drive! He completely ignores the chickens and is incredibly friendly with the goats—no chasing whatsoever.

💋 The Ultimate Lovebug: Falkon is a very loving boy who has a hilarious habit of getting right up in other dogs' faces just to shower them with kisses!

🐕 Social Butterfly: He gets along beautifully with both male and female dogs.

Overall, he is a very well-mannered puppy. Because he came from a stray background where food was scarce, we are currently working with him on some food resource guarding. He is making great progress, but he will need a home that understands how to continue managing and guiding him through this standard puppy behavior.

Falkon is the perfect mix of a sweet family companion and a naturally respectful guardian. He has put his stray days behind him and is ready to bond deeply with his true pack! 🏔️✨
