Not every mother dog has an easy path — but in our nursery, every litter gets the safe, loving start they deserve. These rescued Great Pyrenees and LGD mamas and their puppies are thriving in quiet, dedicated spaces where they can heal, bond, and grow together.

Each mama and puppy receives comprehensive veterinary care, age-appropriate vaccinations, and routine health checks. Because raising puppies takes a village, many of our litters are nurtured in experienced foster homes, giving them early socialization and exposure to everyday home life.

By adopting or sponsoring a nursery family, you’re giving a proud mama the peace she needs and helping her puppies grow into confident, loyal companions.

Born August 8, 2026 - Great Pyrenees Mix - Anaheim, CA

In the middle of the night, when the world was asleep, a message came through that made our hearts stop: a mama Great Pyrenees had given birth to her puppies under a house, and the owners wanted them gone. Surrender them immediately, or they were heading straight to a high-kill shelter.

We couldn’t turn our backs. We said YES—and instantly, a whole village mobilized in the dark.

Crawling under the foundation, reaching into the dirt, and working together against the clock, our team fought to extract every single tiny soul from under that house.

We are tearfully overjoyed to announce that mama and all her newborn babies are officially SAFE! That’s 8 precious lives rescued from the brink, all sleeping on soft, warm blankets tonight in an amazing foster home.

Mama fought so hard to protect her babies in the dirt, but she didn’t come out unscathed. She has what looks like severe, infected embedded foxtails that require immediate veterinary care to clean out and treat.

Born 7/31/26 - Great Pyrenees Mix - Yokuts Valley, CA

Sadie arrived at the shelter as a stray, waiting quietly in hopes that someone would come looking for her. Sadly, no one ever came. Faced with the threat of being placed on the euthanasia list, Sadie was running out of time—and carrying a big secret.

When we stepped in to rescue her, a quick trip to the vet revealed that she was less than ten days away from giving birth! After calling everywhere to explore every safe option, it became clear: Sadie was meant to bring her pups into the world safely under our care. We brought her into a loving, comfortable space just in time for her to rest, prepare, and become a mom in a safe environment.

Sadie is an incredibly resilient mama who has given everything to her pups, and now she is ready for a life where she gets to be loved and cared for.
